Two Fish Charters Company Policies
and other important information

Payment and Booking Policy:

A $2000 deposit is required to reserve a date and book a fishing trip. A reservation is not guaranteed without a deposit and email confirmation.  Deposits are fully refundable 6 months or more before the departure date, only.  Requests for a refund must be recieved in writing more than 6 months before the fishing trip departure date.  Full payment for the trip is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date.  No cash, cashiers checks, and money orders will be accepted as payment at the time of departure at the dock.  

Due to increasing fuel costs and fluctuating prices, rates are subject to change at any time.  Clients with booked trip(s) that are affected by the price change will be notified by email at least 30 days prior to the fishing trip, and have the option to cancel the trip with full refund.at least 6 months   

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Two Fish Charters at all times strives to make your fishing trip an enjoyable and memorable experience. The captain and Two Fish Charters representatives reserve the right to cancel any trip at any time due to bad weather, mechanical failure, safety, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from fishing or could jeopardize passenger or equipment safety. Two-Fish Charters shall attempt to notify the clients by phone or email of any trip cancellation at least 12 hours prior to departure, if possible. Last minute cancellations are rare, but sometimes are unavoidable even at the last minute.  It is highly advisable to check with the captain or other Two-Fish Charters representative 1-3 days before the trip departure, after 2 pm. EDT, by calling ph. 646 841 6925 or ph. 305 797-6396.  Trips that are re-booked within a year of the original cancelled trip will have original booking price.  If a re-booked trip is over 12 months of the original booking, new prices will apply.  In the even of the trip cancellation for any reason, under no circumstances will Two Fish Charters will be held liable for any travel, hotel, or other consequential costs incurred by any client(s) in the group. Weather cancelled fishing trips will be rebooked to any open dates of clients choosing.  In the event of a cancellation due to mechanical issues, a full refund will be given.  Another option is to re-book the trip for a future open date.  Please allow up to 30 days from the trip departure date to recieve your refund.  No refunds will be given if a trip is cut short due to illegal, violent or belligerent behavior by the client. If a trip underway is cut short due to bad weather, mechanical failure, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevents us from fishing, a partial refund will be given. Partial refunds will be $75 per hour for thhe unfinished time.

Equipment Failure:

Two Fish will not be held responsible for acts of God, or failure of any pumps, appliances, toilet, lights, generator or engines, or any other part that does not prevent us from fishing. We take great strides to make sure these occurrences are rare, but in a very harsh operating environment things do fail from time to time. However, we can still catch fish and have a great time.

Tackle Rental:

All terminal tackle is included in your tackle rental fee. As for the rods and reels, if you break it or loose it, you bought it.

Tipping:

Gratuities for the captain are customary. The captains work very hard to ensure that your experience with Two Fish Charters is the very best that it can be, and their tip monies reflect a significant portion of their annual salary. Please recognize this fact and prepare for it in your trip budget across each of the anglers before leaving for your trip.  Generally, 15% of the total cost of your fishing trip is the norm. You are not limited, of course! Feel free to reward exceptional service.

Fish Cleaning:

You are responsible for cleaning and packing your catch. As a courtesy, we provide a fish cleaning facilities at the dock for your convenience. All fish carcasses are to be placed in the plastic cans provided. It is client responsibility to leave the fish cleaning area clean and clutter and garbage free. Professional fish cleaning services are available occasionally for a reasonable fee. Please ask your captain.

Size and Bag Limits:

 It is the responsibility of the client to abide by all state and federal fishing laws and regulations. A copy of salt water fish size and bag limits can be found at your local state office and also available on the boat. In Atlantic Federal waters you are allowed to keep a 2 day possession limit on a multi-day fishing trip.  If the fishing is conducted in Gulf Federal waters, one day fish limit is allowed, unless a second captain is present on board.  The captain or mate will be happy to advise you on any fishing regulations.  If you are not certain if a fish is legal and captain cannot verify, the fish needs to be returned back to the water unharmed.

Any violation of fisheries laws by any one or more clients will result in termination of the fishing trip, without a refund!

Captain Requests:

All our captains are highly experienced and respected professionals.   Two Fish reserves the right to change captain assignments at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.   There will be no refund if a captain assignment is changed.

GPS Tracking and GPS Communication Devices:

All GPS enabled devices, including cell phones shall have the GPS feature turned OFF.  If the captain or a company representative discovers GPS tracking aboard the vessel, the fishing trip can be terminated without a refund. 

Safety:

Safety is always our top priority.  The captain reserves the right, at his/her discretion to move the vessel to sheltered waters at any time, or terminate the trip mat any time. 

Illegal Drug Use Policy:

If a captain discovers illegal drugs on board during the voyage, your trip is terminated immediately. No refunds.

Directions to the boat

Pay attention to the mile marker signs heading South on highway US1. After passing mile marker 6, start paying close attention. You will pass a Shell gas station on your right hand side around mile marker 5 1/2. You will then pass a blinking caution light, get in the left lane and SLOW DOWN. Look for a Burger King hidden off to the left. Make an immediate left after the Burger King. At the stop sign, go straight. You are on Fifth Street. Go on to the next stop sign and you will be at a four way intersection of Fifth Street and Fifth Ave., make a left. Make the next right onto Shrimp road, after passing Bernstein Park on your right. Take Shrimp road down about 1/10 of a mile past the park on the right and apartment buildings on the left.  Right after passing the apartment buildings, turn left on to Boat Yard Row road.  In about 150 yards turn right on to the Perry Hotel parking lot and go straight to the sea wall.  Boats are located down the ramp and  floating dock A which runs parallel with the back of Perry Hotel and the sea wall.

Hand carts to help you transfer coolers and other heavy items are located on the dock, next to the fish cleaning table or along the sea wall. 
 

Parking:

20 MINUTE parking is allowed along the sea wall WHILE LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY.  Please park at one of the designated hotel parking spaces DURING DAYTIME HOURS ONLY.  You will require a parking pass to park overnight at a designated marina parking lot (D).  If your vehicle is left overnight along the seawall or at the Perry Hotel parking lot it will be towed!  Please make sure you are parked at the correct location with a parking pass before your trip departure.
